د ژرندګړى مېرمن ډېره انتظاره سوه
چاى سړې سوې اور سو مړ په تناره كي
خدايه مه كړه چي څه بده پېښه نه وي
د هغه وروستۍ خبر يې وه په زړه كي
دا وروستۍ خبر يې وكړه او روان سو
ويل نور به دلته نه وي ژرنده ګړى
وروسته دونه سو معطل په دروازه كي
ته وا تېره كرۍ ورځ كړله وګړى
له وسواس څخه يې زړه په دربېدو سو
چي پر بخت به يې وي څه تيارې لوېدلي
ور څرګنده سوه له خپله توره بخته
هغه پېښ وه چي قسمت ورته ليكلي
پر آشنا ژرنده خپره توره تياره وه
د اوړو بوى د وختونو خاطره وه
ښكارېدل چي څه په ژرنده كي دننه
د ژرندګړي د وروستۍ كيسې تعبير و
نور يې نه سواى د دې ګام تعقيبولاى
هغه چا چي ځړېدلى په لوى تير و
او كه دې په زړه كي لږ وېره لره
چي به سيورى ورپسې سي په تياره كي
نو يوه له ډېرو لارو وه ورپاته
پټولې چي يې نښي په دې شپه كي
د تور ډنډ توري اوبه تر ستورو لاندي
لكه تور بخمل هوار وي ځلېدلې
كه يو ځل به چا په زور څپه څپه كړې
وروسته بيرته په خپل شكل ښكارېدلې

The Mill
The miller�s wife had waited long
The tea was cold, the fire was dead
And there might yet be nothing wrong
In how he went and what he said:
�There are no millers anymore,�
Was all that she had heard him say;
And he had lingered at the door
So long that it seemed yesterday.

Sick with a feat that had no form
She knew that she was there at last
And in the mill there was a warm
And mealy fragrance of the past.
What else there was would only seem
To say again what he had meant;
And what was hanging from a beam
Would not have heeded where she went.

And if she thought if followed her
She may have reasonable in the dark
That one way of the few there were
Would hide her and would leave no mark;
Black water, smooth above the weir
Like starry velvet in the night
Though ruffled once, would soon appear
The same as ever to the sight.
